Residents urged to remove parked vehicles from snow emergency routes

Due to the impact of a major winter snowstorm, we are asking all residents not to park along designated snow emergency routes. This will allow the City and County Departments of Public Works to plow and clear snow from the main corridors. Having the main roads clear enables the police, fire and emergency medical services to have faster response times to emergencies and residents in need during poor driving conditions.

The snow emergency will begin at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22. The following roadways are posted emergency snow routes:

• Mt. Ephraim Avenue from Vine Street to Route 130
  • Haddon Avenue from Market Street to Ferry Avenue
  • Broadway from Penn Street to the Gloucester City line
  • Federal Street from Delaware Avenue to Route 130
  • Cooper Street from Delaware Avenue to North 8^th Street
  • Market Street from Haddon Avenue to Delaware Avenue
  • Westfield Avenue from 26^th Street to 42^nd Street
  • Marlton Pike from Federal Street to Route 130
  • Kaighn Avene from Route 130 to Front Street
  • Collings Avenue from route 676 to Mt. Ephraim Avenue
  • Ferry Avenue from Haddon Avenue to Mechanic Street
  • North 3^rd Street from Federal Street to State Street
  • Fairview Street from South 10^th Street to Mt. Ephraim Avenue
