In the spring and summer months, the number of bicycle thefts tends to rise. There are simple things you can do to prevent yours or your child’s bike from being stolen. Foremost is do not leave bicycles unlocked in plain view – laying in the yard, on a porch even in a garage with the door open. This is inviting thieves. Always lock your bike when it is outside, but better, store your bike inside, out of sight of potential thieves, when you’re not using it.
For Camden residents, if your bike is stolen, report it by calling us at (856) 757-7400 to file a report.← Information sought on robbery suspects Officers of the Week – Vidal Rivera and Damian Caraballo →
