Posted on by CCPD

This week, the Camden County Police Department is proud to recognize four officers for their quick thinking and teamwork that led to the apprehension of a dangerous suspect. They are Officers Riccardo Berrouet, Tyrone Brown, Robert Shea and Anthony Rodriguez.

On Oct. 23, officers responded to the 200 block of Atlantic Avenue where they met a male victim who reported being robbed by a suspect with a gun near the corner of 4th and Walnut streets. Officers Brown and Shea went to the area of 4th and Walnut streets to look for the suspect, and after a few minutes spotted an individual matching the description provided by the victim. Officers Brown, Shea, Berrouet and Rodriguez approached the suspect, who admitted to being in possession of an imitation handgun. He was then placed under arrest without incident and charged with multiple offenses.

“Officers Brown, Shea, Berrouet and Rodriguez acted quickly to locate a dangerous suspect and should be recognized for their work to improve the quality of life for Camden residents,” said Lt. John Martinez.

For their work, we honor Officers Brown, Shea, Berrouet and Rodriguez as Camden County Police Department Officers of the Week.
